[edit] Plot Summary
On a colonized Mars children have been replaced by robot servents known as 'dolls'. Layla, a skilled fighter, Nei, a strange doll, and Speedy, a doll breeder, travels about the world much scorn of the founders of Mars, who see them as a threat.
