At present the Drama index (http://www.crunchyroll.com/drama?tab=index) contains folders for

Things to Remember
- Use this thread to ensure that the fansub group is accepted before approving any videos/creating any new series
- Create a new folder for new variety show series with a minimum of 5 videos. Any fewer should be put in the members section until more are uploaded.
- Do not accept anything produced outside of East Asia unless it's a non-US documentary.
- Do not accept anything with a U.S. distributor logo.
- Do not accept a movie or an episode that's split into 5 parts or more.
- Do not accept videos in any of these .flv, .rmvb, or .rm formats (.rmvb and .rm don't seen to work any more)
Video Titles and Descriptions
Drama Series
Episode Number and Name Fields
- Episodes uploaded in one part should have a whole number as the episode number. Ex: For episode 1 of any series the, "1" should be input into the "Episode Number" field.
- These videos should have "Episode #" input into the "Name" field with # referring to the number of the episode.
- Episodes uploaded in multiple parts should have a decimal. Ex: If someone uploads episode 2 of a series in 3 parts, 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3 should be input in the "Episode Number" field.
- These videos should have "Episode # (Part X)" input into the "Name Field" with # referring to the number of the episode and X referring to the number of the part.
The Description Field
- The description field may give credit to a fansubbing group, otherwise it should be left blank. Please make sure that this field is cleared of anything other than fansub group credits.
- Credit to fansub groups should be formatted as such: "English Subtitles by _____"
The Tags Field
The tags field should be left blank. The video will automatically adopt the tags of the folder you assign it, given that said folder has tags. Do NOT allow tags that the user input to go through! Make sure the field is clear before you approve the video.
Movies
Episode Number and Name Fields
- If the movie is uploaded in one go, then leave blank or insert a 1 for episode number.
- Input "Complete" into the name field for these movies.
- If the movie is uploaded in parts, then the number input into the episode number field should correspond with the part (i.e. 1 for Part 1, 2 for Part 2)
- Input "Part X" into the name field for these videos, with X referring to the number of the part.
- If the movie is split into segments and each segment is split into parts, put in 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, etc.
The Description Field
- The description field may give credit to a fansubbing group, otherwise it should be left blank. Please make sure that this field is cleared of anything other than fansub group credits.
- Credit to fansub groups should be formatted as such: "English Subtitles by _____"

Variety Shows
Episode Number and Name Fields
- The episode number for variety show is done by date, in this format: yymmdd. This way the episodes will be in order.
- Ex: For a variety show episode aired on May-09-2007, you would input 070509.
- The date should be input in the name field like so MMM-DD-YYY. By MMM I mean that months should be shortened to 3 letters (Ex: April becomes Apr)
The Description Field
- Information about the episode (guests, activities, etc.) should be allowed in the description, but otherwise keep blank. User comments like "this episode is so funny haha xD" should not be permitted.
The Tags Field
The tags field should be left blank. The video will automatically adopt the tags of the folder you assign it, given that said folder has tags. Do NOT allow tags that the user input to go through! Make sure the field is clear before you approve the video.

Episode Number and Name Fields
- Episode number should be left blank. Alternatively you can input the year (yyyy) into the episode number so that movies are in somewhat-chronological order, but not everyone does this. Actually, only I do.
- The name field should show the Drama/Movie title and then the year in parantheses: Title (Year)
- Ex: The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
The Description Field
This can hold information about the movie/drama, but otherwise leave blank. Do not allow personally comments from users like "I really want to see this movie" or "x is so cute!"

The tags field should be left blank. Do NOT allow tags that the user input to go through! Make sure the field is clear before you approve the video.
Drama/Movie RAWs
ALL RAW dramas and movies uploaded must be approved into the Drama RAWs or Movie RAWs folders, respectively. New RAW dramas/movies must be added to the list present in the series description. Do NOT make folders for RAW dramas/movies. Be sure to add the new series to Wikiroll and the folder description. Use this code to link the name of the series/movie to the first video.

When the subtitled version is uploaded, simply remove the link code from the description while keeping the name of the series/movie, and add (removed; subbed version now available).
- Example: Yes, I Can See Dead People (removed; subbed version on cr)
Episode Number and Name Fields
- The episode number should be formatted x.yy, with x referring to the drovie's number and yy referring to the episode number
- Ex: Series number 22 Episode 1, would be 22.01
- A series with parts would be 22.011, 22.012 (the second 1 represents part 1 and the 2 represents part 2)
- The name field should be filled in this format: Drovie title - Episode X (Part X)
- Of course, (Part X) is only necessary when the drovie is split into parts.
The Description Field
The description field may have information about the drovie. Otherwise leave blank.
The Tags Field
The tags field should be left blank. Do NOT allow tags that the user input to go through! Make sure the field is clear before you approve the video.
Replacements
It's important for all videos to have good video and audio quality. Use your judgement to decide whether to approve an upload to replace an existing video or mark it as a duplicate.
Whenever possible replace an existing video that has non-English/no subtitles with a video with English subtitles.
Drama-related videos
Interviews, behind the scenes, bloopers/NGs, DMVs, special episodes and such should go under the member section with the "Series Name Extras" tag. If a drama is extremely popular, then it gets a Extras folder under Member.

Creating a Folder
Folder Titles
When you create a new folder for a drama, movie or folder, please follow this format:
- Drama: Title
- Ex: Grumpy Man
- Movie: Title - Movie
- Ex: Grumpy Man - Movie
Do not create a new folder for a documentary or short film. Approve it under an existing folder:
- Short Movies
- Documentaries
Alternative Titles
Many uploaders tend to upload movies with U.S. titles. We prefer international titles, e.g.
- U.S. title: 'White Room'
- International title: 'Unborn But Forgotten'
This is why it's necessary to include all alternative titles possible when you create a folder or edit a folder summary for movie or drama as this will prevent the creation of a duplicate folder.
Folder summary layout
Tags
- For tags you must include one tag that denotes the country as well as whether it is a movie or drama.
- For example, a Japanese drama would get the tag jdrama, while a Korean movie would get the tag kdrama.
- Also include genre tags such as crime or romance, but that is it. Do NOT include any weird tags (yes, woofie, I'm talking to youuuuu xD).
New Drama / Variety Show Series
As stated before, there must be a minimum of 5 videos before creating a folder for it.

Series Pictures
Series Avatar
Now that series pages have been merged into Group pages, we have to manually add a proper Group Avatar photo. This can usually be done by saving a video thumbnail to your computer and then uploading it as the series avatar or finding another image online and cropping the photo if it's too big before using it.
Group Photos
Instead of having movie or drama posters embedded next to the Description of the series, we can now just upload those to the Group Photos section in each series page. This however is not necessary.
