Beautiful, intelligent, and sophisticated, Iwaya Sumire is the epitome of a successful modern day woman but her intimidating qualities get her demoted and one day after she returns home, she finds Takeshi Goda (Jun Matsumoto) in a box out the front of her home. She takes him home and begins calling him Momo after her late dog and decides to keep Matsujun as a "pet". What begins as a strictly owner and pet relationship quickly evolves into something more profound and they each help the other heal and find what truly matters to them.
