[edit] Spider Lilies – Movie

After seeing a kiss shared by actresses, Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong, it was yet awkward to see Rainie kissing another female person. As she’s famous with Mike He in Devil Beside You. At first I didn’t know that it was the previews for the movie that she was going to do. So like many fans, there was some slight thinking that she was a lesbian. However, after watching the movie itself, you can see that she’s only portraying a lesbian. Also because she is well-known for her “cuteness”, it was uncomfortable for a moment to see her portraying a Jade (Rainie) trying to seduce people online with her webcam. Overall I think that Rainie did well with acting. It must have been a little uncomfortable for her, but it’s the acting world. Also the tattoos look so pretty and beautifully-done.

[edit] 200 Pounds of Beauty - Movie

This movie to me was very into reality. You began to realize how some people can go so far as to change themselves to get someone’s attention. This is the reason for Hanna who lip sings for a pop singer, Ammy. Hanna has an attracting voice, but it’s her body mass that’s in the way of her career. She did her best by getting plastic surgery performed on all the parts of her body. Will she realize that people only accept her not of beauty, but actually her singing. I guess it’s pretty common. When you’ve been friends or coworkers with someone for a long time and you want to catch their attention, you would go to the extreme to make the person fall in love with you or at least catch their attention. It’s pretty sad, but will you get the person to fall in love with you?

[edit] Klin Kaew Klang Jai - Drama

Most lakorns follow the same formats – the rich guy falls in love with some poor guy and vice versa. This lakorn in particular takes place how one woman tries to make her husband’s mistress feel horrible when she realizes that her real daughter was switched off with a prostitute’s baby. So then will she realized that her real daughter now works as a servant for her own mother. And then the love shared between a man who didn’t know that his real wife replaced herself with someone because she doesn’t care about him. There’s a whole lot of drama in Klin Kaew Klang Jai, especially how caring and loving is the “replaced” wife was as to the drug-abused real wife. Sometimes when you live in a world of the poor, you tend to care more about people. As for if you’re such a rich snob, you don’t know about life and caring. Sometimes you do, but when you’ve been through so much harshness, you learn a lesson in life. Love comes from the heart, not money. Unless you have love and money, then you’re one lucky person.

[edit] Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo / The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

With absolutely gorgeous animation, along side an imaginative, timeless tale, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is a movie you don’t want to miss. Who ever said that time travel is impossible? This show will definitely (or, theoretically, more so) prove that theory wrong. This movie gets three thumbs up!

[edit] Maria-sama ga Miteru: Haru

As a continuation of the first season, this series is one that will stay in the heart of viewers for a long while. Strong bonds are both created and broken in this beautiful story about the life of students attending the Lillian Academy for Girls. If you haven’t seen or even heard of the first series, it is recommended that you watch that before going on to this one. Don’t miss out on this anime!
